Instructions

Sterilise your menstrual cup or disc after each menstrual cycle.

1. Wash your cup or disc with mild soap and water before sterilising.
2. Add ~30ml of water to the steriliser. Do not exceed the maximum line indicator located on the inside of the steriliser.
3. Place your cup or disc in the steriliser. For cups - place them upside down with the rim at the bottom. For discs - squeeze the sides of the disc together to create an elongated shape and place the disc vertically into the steriliser.
4. Close the lid firmly. The vent in the lid will allow steam to escape.
5. Microwave on high for 1-2 minutes. Times may vary depending on microwave - as a guide for 1100–1250W ~1 minute and 800–1000W ~2 minutes. Steam venting from the lid indicates the water has reached boiling point.
6. Let the steriliser cool for 10 minutes before opening. WARNING: Steam can cause burns. Do not handle until cool.
7. Remove and dry the cup with clean hands or store it in a breathable pouch.
